Sunday's Kitchen - Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
125g unsalted butter (softened)
90g soft light brown sugar
1 egg
125g chocolate spread
2-3 drops of vanilla extract
90g caster sugar
200g plain flour
30g cocoa powder
½ teaspoon of baking powder
1 small pinch of salt
150g white chocolate chips (you could use milk, plain or dark chocolate chips)

Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas mark 4. Cream the butter and both types of sugar together in a large bowl until the mixture is creamy.
2. Beat the egg, chocolate spread and vanilla extract into the mixture until fully mixed.
3. Sieve the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt into the bowl and gently mix them together with a wooden spoon. Stir in the chocolate chips.
4. Place 6-7 heaped desert spoons of the cookie mix onto a tray leaving space so that they can spread as they cook.
5. Bake them for 14minutes. Take the trays from the oven and allow the cookies to set for 2-3 minutes and when set put them onto a cooling rack.
6. Enjoy!
*This recipe makes 20 cookies.
